Land Acknowledgement

We believe it is important to bring to light uncomfortable truths, and one of those truths is that our headquarters is located on the unceded land of the Wappinger, Schaghticoke, and Munsee Lenape people. We acknowledge their community, their elders both past and present, as well as future generations. We also acknowledge that the cultural institutions of Manhattan were founded upon exclusions and erasures of many Indigenous people.

We are committed to the ongoing process of dismantling the ongoing legacies of settler colonialism. We offer the joy and gratitude created with our artistic work in celebration of the Wappinger and Munsee Lenape.
