Our strength lies in our artists’ varied perspectives. We are an ensemble company of “Mischiefs” from all over the US and the world, who bring our ideas to the devising process, and we love learning from each other and our collaborators.
These amazing collaborators include the 41Street Ensemble based in Oakland, The Fourth Wall Hybrid Arts Ensemble based in Boston, TAIKOPROJECT based in Los Angeles, and Hodi Maputo Afro Swing in Maputo, Mozambique. The company’s core members represent not only different nationalities and ethnicities, but a variety of performance languages. By combining artists of diverse talents and backgrounds with Mischief’s trademark playful storytelling, we ensure that the end result is widely accessible to audiences. And the audiences we serve are equally diverse. We serve folks across Manhattan including families, youth, and new fans of the arts as well as long-time theatre audiences.
